One of the studies from the COVID Communication Weekly (CCW) collaboration is published in Computers in Human Behavior, the impact factor of the journal is 8.957! The study is titled– “Social media narratives can influence vaccine intentions: The impact of depicting regret and character death” and the results demonstrate that the tweets depicting regret prompted the thoughts of alternate storylines (i.e., replotting) which was related to greater anticipated regret and vaccine intention subsequently. It was interesting that these serial mediation relationships were stronger for Republicans compared to Democrats.
