I just received a Research Enhancement Program (REP) award for a research project titled-” Normative Perceptions and prevention Behaviors across Time: Studying COVID-19 across 36 Weeks”. REP is one of the internal grant mechanisms at Texas State University.
The primary goal of this REP project is to synthesize the trajectory of social norms and their impacts on behaviors related to COVID-19. This study uses a repeated cross-sectional (RCS) study design to monitor US adults’ perceptions of social norms related to COVID-19 prevention behaviors across 36 weeks (N = 400 per week). This grant also supports a graduate research assistant to help with this project. I am looking forward to mentoring a graduate student and working on this project over the next year.
