Family health communication roles article published!

Journal of Genetic CounselingOur study about family health communication roles was published in the Journal of Genetic Counseling. This study examines the individual roles for family health communication and factors related to these roles, among families of three different racial/ethnic groups: Caucasians, Latinos, and Pacific Islanders.

This paper is a part of a larger qualitative project broadly concerned with family health histories and family communication about health supported by the Consortium for Families and Health Research (C-FAHR) at the University of Utah. Another paper from the same data focused on the family health history tools and is published in the Journal of Family Communication.
